Job Description

Intermediate/Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, with experience in mechanical building services, to be based in our busy Leamington Spa office.

You will:
  • Be enthusiastic and highly motivated
  • Have good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
  • Have knowledge of the standard industry software packages such as IES, Hevacomp, AutoCAD & Revit
  • Knowledge and experience in all mechanical building services.
The role:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be involved in a wide range of exciting projects which include working within the commercial, health, industrial, education, residential and leisure sectors.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and coordinating projects
  • Carrying out site surveys and dilapidation surveys
  • Preparing designs, specifications, reports, budgets and technical documents
  • Liaising with CAD Department to produce design drawings and layouts
  • Attending design and site meetings
  • Carrying out site visits and inspections
  • Carrying out quality checks, responding to site queries and solving technical/operational/contractual problems.

Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Design Engineer, with experience in electrical building services, to be based in our busy Leamington Spa office.

Applicants will be enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals with good communication skills both verbal and written. They will have the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of the standard industry software packages such as Dialux, Amtech, IES, Hevacomp, AutoCAD, or Revit is required.

CAD/BIM Technician

Job Description

Experienced CAD/BIM Technician to be based in our busy Leamington Spa office.

You will:
  • Be enthusiastic and highly motivated
  • Have good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
  • Have knowledge of the standard industry software such as AutoCAD & Revit
  • Experience using Hevacomp and IES modelling would be an advantage
The role
As CAD/BIM Technician you will be responsible for the following:
  • Production of co-ordinated 3D Models for Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health and to assist in the development of Revit BIM Models
  • Assist in BIM co-ordination meetings
  • Ensuring timely delivery ensuring programme dates and deadlines are met
  • Creating visuals from models for team use or to highlight issues
  • Create mechanical and electrical layout 2D CAD drawings from sketch and plan drawing schemes and carry out amendments to all stages of drawings
  • Liaison with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and Associates
  • Liaison with the Office Manager in aspects of IT in relation to BIM & CAD
  • Interrogating drawing files from external sources to produce ‘x references’
  • Producing sketches and schematics to scale from Engineers’ mark ups
  • Drawing and plotting to scale using ’viewports’
  • File drawings and other project related information
  • Assisting Engineers in developing 3D thermal modelling packages
