TEP ACHIEVE SBEM

"COMPETENT PERSON" STATUS!

                                   TEP achieve Competent Person Status

                             using the interface of HEVACOMP.

                          A process examined and audited

annually by the BRE to ensure on -

going quality of standards / results.

TEP's entry can be seen and verified at

the BRE site - Red Book live - Volume 2

         Competent Person Scheme

Energy rating calculations - non domestic

         Certificate Number : ERC 3065

Of course, performing the Part L2 compliance check is the end of the whole process - where the building passes first time.  TEP's experience and competence in performing Sbem calculations means that we can offer advice on a range of compliance strategies to suit the projects' needs.

Remember, Sbem interfaces

are only one way of demonstrating

compliance with L2, and should

only be applied to "suitable"

buildings.  TEP are involved in many

more examples where more

complex analysis is appropriate.King Henry VIII Swimming Pool Analysis

Monthly Energy Analysis for Fitzpatrick HQTEP using industry leading Thermal Analysis Software to create and

analyse buildings using a 3D modelling interface.  The software - which

is also one of the Simulation software engines to be accredited against

CIBSE TM33 and approved by DCLG.  As well as predicting levels of

thermal comfort & predicting energy use against recorded weather

scenarios, it can also be used to demonstrate overall L2 compliance and

is a key tool in meeting Criterion 3 - avoiding summertime over heating.

                       Don't forget SAP!

Although BRE do not currently administer a

scheme for competent persons in L1, TEP

                                          use accredited software to demonstrate

compliance with L1 to ensure the quality

and accuracy of our results. TEP have

vast experience of performing SAP analysis

on projects from single to multiple dwelling

                                           developments - including whole building

                                                                     analysis techniques.

There may be Renewable / Sustainability issues to consider........?

TEP have a wide range of experience in renewable / sustainable energy solutions and able to offer advice on the most appropriate strategy for your project.

Put all these together and TEP are more than capable of offering Part L compliance advice at every stage of a project ending in self certified calculations for use in Building Regulation submission.
